Most of us suffer from some sort of back discomfort. This can be caused by oh so many different things. Honestly, just living life these days causes aches and pains! However, we compiled a list to give you just a small idea of why you ache.

Poor posture – Let’s be honest, most of us slouch when we shouldn’t be.

Low or reduced muscle tone – You have up to 635 muscles inside you! And if you don’t work at least most of them, it can definitely lead to some discomfort.

Spinal misalignment – You have 24 vertebra, that’s 24 different causes alone!

Deteriorating discs – You have 23 discs, and an issue with any of them can throw everything off.

Herniated or ruptured discs – Again, you have 23 of those bad boys. If they want to act up, look out!

Food and diet – Anything in the ‘whites’ category. That includes white flour, white sugar, and the like.

Falls and accidents – Anything that jolts or jars you. It could be from a car accident, a biking incident, anything that jerks your body around!

Dehydration – Not drinking enough water! (I’m looking at EVERYONE here!) Also, drinking a lot of water forces you to get up more, which is also great at preventing back pain!)

Sprains and strains – This includes overuse of your joints. Listen to your body and know when to take a break!
