Dear patients, potential patients, and web surfers,
Over the last two years we have found that many insurance companies have raised your specialist office visit co-pay to over $35.00. Since our base office visit is $33.00, we feel that most of you would not mind saving a couple of dollars. Also, Medicare has forced chiropractic into the physical therapy type treatment – do intensive treatment plan/care and dismissal from care. There is no payment for periodic maintenance care or follow up care. We have ceased our participation in all insurance networks except Medicare part B. You do not have to go to a participating doctor. This will allow us to do chiropractic care for what you need and want, not when and how the insurance companies dictate.
Our goal at Ellenberger Chiropractic is to allow everyone to experience the benefits of chiropractic care and adjustments. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, we can work with you to arrange a flexible payment program that fits your budget. If you have no insurance or if your insurance does not have any chiropractic benefits, there are still ways for you to receive the pain relief and chiropractic care that you need. Many patients choose to pay directly for their visits with the chiropractor, especially as they discover that chiropractic care is actually extremely cost-effective and affordable. For these patients, chiropractic care is often cheaper and more effective than alternative pain treatments such as pain medications or invasive surgery.
At Dr. Ralph Ellenberger, we care about your family’s health. Chiropractic health care can benefit all members of your family. Our family plan can make your care more affordable. The family plan is that you pay for both parents at the usual fees and all of your children are free when brought in to the office on the same day. Otherwise, children’s fee is $1.00 per year of age through high school. If only one parent or no parent but only children need an adjustment on a particular day, we add up the ages of all those children: the maximum charge would be twice the usual office visit.
For the initial office visit/adjustment, children may have an initial evaluation fee depending on the complexity of their problem.
We do not submit anything to any insurance under this plan. Fees are payable at time of service by cash, check, or credit card.
